Terms of Service
Last updated: October 12, 2026
These terms govern your use of Becode: the website becodee.com and the app at app.becodee.com. By creating an account or using Becode you accept them; if you use Becode for a company, you accept them on its behalf. How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
1. The service
Becode is a research tool about SaaS businesses: revenue, traffic, ads, technology and rankings, collected from public and third-party sources. Some figures are estimates, and they are labelled as such.
Becode is for information only. It is not financial, investment or legal advice, and you remain responsible for your decisions.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18, give accurate information and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- An account is for one person. A plan with more seats can be used by as many people as the seats it includes.
- Tell us at info@becodee.com if you think someone else has used your account.
3. Plans, prices and payment
- Becode has a Free plan and paid plans (Starter, Pro and Business), billed monthly, every three months or yearly. What each plan includes and its price are shown on our pricing page and at checkout.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. The price shown at checkout is the total you pay.
- Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the same price, until you cancel.
- If a renewal payment fails, Stripe tries again over the following days and asks you to update your payment method; your plan stays active meanwhile. If the payment still fails, your account moves to the Free plan.
- We may change prices for future billing periods. We'll tell you in advance, and you can cancel before the new price applies.
4. Changing or cancelling your plan
- You can change plan or billing period, and cancel, at any time from Settings → Manage billing in the app.
- An upgrade starts immediately: you pay the difference for the rest of the current period. A downgrade also starts immediately, and what you had paid for the rest of the period becomes a credit for your next invoices.
- When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for; then your account moves to the Free plan.
5. Refunds
Payments are not refundable, and a billing period that has started is not refunded if you cancel, except where the law requires a refund.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a right of withdrawal: within 14 days of subscribing you can withdraw without giving a reason, by writing to info@becodee.com. When you subscribe you ask us to give you access straight away, so if you withdraw you pay for the service provided until you tell us, and we refund the rest within 14 days, with the same payment method. The right of withdrawal doesn't apply to businesses.
To withdraw, you can write in your own words or use this text: "I withdraw from my contract for the Becode [plan] subscription, bought on [date]. Name: [your name]. Account email: [your email]."
6. Acceptable use
When you use Becode, don't:
- copy, scrape or download its data in bulk, or resell it;
- share your account, or let more people use your plan than the seats it includes;
- use bots or automated scripts, or try to get around your plan's limits;
- interfere with the service or test its security without our permission;
- use Becode for anything illegal or to harass anyone.
7. Our content and others' trademarks
Becode's software, design and database belong to us. Your plan gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use them while it is active, including in your own work and reports, quoting reasonable extracts.
Company names, logos and ads shown in Becode belong to their owners. Showing them doesn't imply any affiliation or endorsement.
8. Your content
The pictures, ideas and other content you send us remain yours. You allow us to use them to run and improve Becode. Don't upload anything you don't have the right to share.
9. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep Becode available and its data up to date, but we can't guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that data from third-party sources is complete and accurate.
We may change, add or remove features. If a change significantly reduces what your paid plan includes, we'll tell you in advance and you can cancel before it applies.
10. Liability
Becode is provided as it is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or decisions made using Becode's data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or the rights you have as a consumer that can't be waived.
11. Suspension and closure
You can stop using Becode and ask us to delete your account at any time, by writing to info@becodee.com.
We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms. If we close a paid account without a breach on your side, we refund the unused part of the period.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll tell you about important changes by email or in the app at least 15 days before they apply; if you don't accept them, you can cancel before then. The date at the top shows the current version.
13. Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim before the courts where you live. For businesses, the courts of the place where Becode's operator is established have exclusive jurisdiction.
14. Contact
For anything about these terms or your account, write to info@becodee.com or support@becodee.com.
